Black Food Fund was thrilled to attend Love the Land, a community gathering in support of local farms, hosted by Washington Farmland Trust at Seattle Farm in Rainier Beach.
During the event, Washington Farmland Trust shared about their efforts to protect threatened farmland across the state. In June of this year, WA Farmland Trust partnered with our sister organization, Black Food Sovereignty Coalition to preserve 43 acres of farmland in Centralia, WA.
